WTXGA supports itself only by donations from it's members.  Please become a sponsor and help keep the site going and fund events, special projects, milestone certificates, etc.

There are five standard sponsorship levels.  Of course you can donate any amount that you'd like, these levels are simply a basic structure for donation. 

• :  $500+
• :  $100
• :  $50
• :  $25
• :  $10

Within a calendar year if you donate up to the next level than your sponsorship status will change as well for the next year.  And, if there is possibly someone out there that wishes to donate $1000 or more in a year, then I will make something extra special for them.  Maybe a "Bill Gates" level or "Steve's My Slave Now" level.  You sponsorship level will replace the stars for the number of posts unless of course you wish to be anonymous.

Have you ever looked at a monthly debit program for sponsorship? Sort of like dues, but completely voluntary. If it didn't cost anything, was automatic, didn't require you to do anything, then it wouldn't matter if we only gave a dollar a month. It would be a dollar the association isn't getting now, and we might be able to turn that into some sort of benefit for all the members, whether they contributed anything or not. A patch, pin, decal, something. I hate to ask questions when I don't have a potential answer as well, but I don't have any idea how something like this would work.

Hmmm... let me look into that.  That might be a really easy way for people to spread out a big donation.  Good idea!

Well, some of us with huge egos want that silver, gold, platinum tag to show how special we are, so we will make a big donation up front. But the followup money would be easier to give next year if it was spread out.

Maybe look into PayPal. They have the code to place a button for taking money...I think you may be able to grab a recurring payment button from them too.

You are correct Carl.  I forgot to mention that while we are collecting money for the Challenge, the WTXGA Sponsorship/Donation via PayPal has been put on hold.  The best way to become a sponsor or donate is via check. 

On a personal check, please put "Forum Sponsor" in the "For" area to help me account the money separate from the Texas Challenge 2010 money.  Money we receive from the forum sponsor donations goes directly to our WTXGA organization and will not be used for the Texas Challenge.
