They say that misery loves company, so here goes. Has anyone else noticed that the version 4 "upgrade" of the Geocaching App for iPhone/iPod Touch broke the app in a number of ways? I know it's early to expect bug fixes, so I guess I'm just looking for a shoulder to cry on. Has anyone heard of any workarounds that could be implemented in the interim? Unfortunately, I've sync'd my iPod Touch since installing the upgrade, so a version rollback is out of the question. Ugh. Thanks in advance!

I just did that update on my Geocaching app on my iPhone and they have done alot with the app. I love that you can take a picture and post it to your log right then and there. I also love that you can pick up and drop TBs with the new upgrade. The only thing I don't really like  right now is that it has alot more to do to get back towards a new search from all the log cache options but I will get use to that soon I hope.

My main issue with the app is that it crashes any time I try to download a pocket query over 500 waypoints.  Version 3 did this without any problem.  Since I'm using an iPod Touch and can't have a wifi connection at all times, being able to store PQ's is kind of important.  So until they elect to fix this issue, the app is pretty much taking up space on my device.  I'm more than a little disappointed with the seemingly rushed nature of the app and a lack of response on the part of Groundspeak.  Having dropped $10 for the app, I feel like I should be getting just a little more.

 Hey Beware
After some times of actually using the new caching app on the iPhone I to have come to not like how it crashes. I do like some new features but it is alot slower to react to requests then it use to. I hope they will fix all the bugs it has and get it to operating better.

Now that you mention it, there is a noticeably longer lag when it comes to processing requests.  Longer to start and longer to open saved queries.

Think I'm going to download another app like Geosphere while I wait for them to make the fixes.  From what I understand, it could take awhile.

I had just updated the geocaching app on my iPhone and it seens to be doing alot better. There are still some new features that makes it a lil more troublesome on getting around the app to get to where I want but it is nice to be able to do the features it allows me to like pickup and drop trackables and upload a photo to the cache page from my iPhone. I think that is realy great and will need to start using them features as I cache in interesting spots.

I gotta say I'm pretty satisfied with the improvements made in the latest version upgrade.  And I'm glad it didn't take forever for the upgrade to be made available.  During the wait though, I downloaded Geosphere.  It's a good application.  I'll be using both for the time being to see which one I prefer.
